Time Warner Business Class (TWC), a part of Time Warner Cable, which is a $19.8 Billion, 47,000 employee company having HQ in New York City. The company provides a wholly-owned and operated network including the "last mile" access using carrier-grade ring technology for its business customers. It's target market is small businesses from 1-25 employees. TWC's cable pricing is available in Telarus' Geoquote System as of January 20, 2011.

TWC Products:

  • Internet access, scalable to fit any business, up to 15 Mbps (downstream x 2 Mbps (upstream).
  • Business class phone service from 1-20 lines (POTS alternative) includes all-inclusinve rate plan
  • Business cable TV includes standard, digital, and HDTV services

Internet services range from 7 Mbps x 768 Kbps, starting at $79.95, to 15 Mbps x 2 Mbps, starting at $399.95. Services can be upgraded without a truck roll. In addition, Wideband Internet Access, e.g., 35 or 50 Mbps x 5 Mbps is available, starting at $199.95, now in the NYC market (Manhattan). Wideband is being rolled out throughout the TWC network.

Phone services include many standard features including three-way calling, account codes, and . Calls are routed within the TWC network, until handed-off to phone services partner systems and do not traverse the Internet. Phone service pricing per line starts at $40.95, and includes unlimited local and long distance calling within the US and Canada. Government-mandated charges are similar to what customers are used to seeing on their traditional phone bills, with the exception of subscriber line charges (these are not charged by TWC).

Standard (typical analog TV with up to 80 channels) and digital (300+ channels) cable services are available to business customers. HD service is available under the digital cable plan.

TWC also has a significant capability to provide Metro Ethernet solutions including Layer 2 point to point, point to multipoint (hub and spoke) and multipoint configurations. Metro and Regional P2P (in-state) transport are available with or without Internet access. Services are scable from 5 Mbps up to 10 Gbps port speeds. These solutions provide complete bypass of local Bell Central Offices, since TWC owns 100% of infrastructure. TWC is a Metro Ethernet Forum certified carrier. Service Level Agreements are available for TWC's Ethernet services.
